Between 1945 and 1950, a series of unexplained disappearances occurred in a remote region of southwestern Vermont commonly referred to as the Bennington Triangle. The incidents involved individuals of different ages and backgrounds, including hikers, hunters, and local residents. Contemporary accounts described the circumstances as sudden, unexplained, and unresolved.

At the time, attempts to understand what had happened were limited by dense wilderness, rugged terrain, unpredictable weather, and the absence of modern tracking or communication technologies. Search efforts were conducted but were constrained by geography and incomplete information. In several cases, evidence was fragmentary or entirely absent.

Despite continued interest and later analysis, none of the disappearances were conclusively resolved. The lack of recovered bodies, definitive physical evidence, or verified testimony has prevented closure. Over time, the significance of the Bennington Triangle has endured not because of what is known, but because of what remains missing.

This tarot reading does not attempt to resolve the case. It follows the story the cards told, without attempting to finish it.
